As a guest at Il Nido Nero, you stay in an ecological design villa, a so-called shelter, designed to fit in with the environment, in the midst of nature. They are all architectural gems built with sustainable materials: a minimalist open-plan architecture with refined design. The ideal place for a peaceful holiday, close to nature and each other. Back to basics, without sacrificing comfort.

Each shelter has its own unique interior, with carefully chosen materials and specific colours and accessories. From modern and austere to typically Umbrian. A thorough attention to detail ensures absolute peace and harmony.

Each villa is fully equipped and has every comfort:

Large panoramic windows blurring the line between inside and outside and merging the interior with the exterior
Wooden floors, walls and ceilings for a warm atmosphere
All south-facing sections are fitted with automated sun blinds
Night-time cooling windows with mosquito nets in each bedroom

A villa customized to your holiday

We offer different types of accommodation for those who want to travel alone, couples, families with children and larger groups.

The smaller shelters are perfect for those who want to retreat in peace and quiet. Take some time for yourself, be alone, shelter and recharge your batteries in the middle of nature.

Larger families or groups can book several stays together, like in Pomonte and thus spend the holiday together, each with the privacy of its own place. The larger shelters are modular and consist of different 'units' that can be closed off according to the number of guests.

Enjoying and respecting nature

Our eco villas are self-sufficient, so their impact on nature is minimal. At Il Nido Nero, we attach great importance to the ecological aspect. And you notice that in everything:

Domotics for optimal regulation of energy consumption and remote overheating control
High-quality sun blinds for natural cooling
Storage and reuse of rainwater
For each cleaning or washing of the household linen, we use our own homemade ecological detergents

Pallet heaters, which are not only cosy but also eco-friendly

Cooperation with local craftsmen, shops and artisans for the decoration and furnishing of the shelters
Our guest amenities and soap bars (shampoo and shower soap) are made with care using plants from Charline's herb and vegetable garden, and the size is also adjusted. No more plastic bottles polluting the environment !
In some shelters, we have opted to work with ecological designer taps, which make filtered and deliciously fresh mineral and sparkling water. No more lugging around waterbottles and polluting plastics.
All the shelters are equipped with small containers for waste sorting and a compost heap for your green leftovers so you can sort your waste in an environmentally friendly way during your stay.

You too can do your bit for a better environment during your stay. Become aware of your water consumption when showering, use bath towels sparingly, make your coffee in a refillable pad, use metal or bamboo straws... We make all this available to you. These are just a few examples of small things you can pay attention to. Here you will enjoy and respect nature.
